Auctioneer

Richard has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. He started as a consultant with Harcourts Otago in 2004 and has been an Auctioneer for 19 of those years. He was a high achieving consultant and strong auction lister, recognised as the Number 1 consultant for Harcourts Queenstown from 2009 – 2015. He went on to become one of the business owners of Harcourts Otago, manager of the Dunedin and Balclutha offices, and also held the role of Auction Manager for the group.
He has called thousands of Auctions, and has a reputation for strong negotiation skills. A Harcourts competition finalist and competitor over many years, Richard has also served as a judge for several REINZ and LVD Auction competitions, and has trained other consultants into becoming auctioneers. When he’s not calling auctions you may find him on the golf course, or performing music with his band. He has made the move to Christchurch and is looking forward to delivering exceptional auctioneering services to the South Island region.
